1. Finality of Sales
Due to the nature of digital goods and the immediate consumption of AI processing resources (server costs and API fees), all sales and subscriptions are final. We do not offer refunds or credits for any partial subscription periods, unused word counts, or dissatisfaction with AI-generated results.
2. "Try Before You Buy"

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have tested the Service and found it satisfactory for your needs. Ignorance of the tool's capabilities is not grounds for a refund.
3. Subscription Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time via your Account Settings.
- Cancellation prevents future billing cycles.
- You will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
- No pro-rated refunds will be issued for the remaining time in a billing cycle.
4. Limited Exceptions
Refund requests are only considered at our sole discretion under the following verified circumstances:
- Technical Failure: A persistent system error that prevented access to the service for more than 72 hours, which our team was unable to resolve.
- Duplicate Billing: A verified accidental double-charge caused by a technical glitch in our payment gateway.
Any refund request must be submitted to contact@chineselearning.co within 48 hours of the transaction. Requests made after this window will be automatically denied.
5. AI Limitations and Accuracy
You acknowledge that AI-generated Chinese text may contain errors and that language models evolve over time. Changes in AI performance, output style, or HSK grading logic do not constitute grounds for a refund.
6. Chargebacks and Disputes
By using our Service, you agree to contact our support team to resolve any billing issues before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Unwarranted chargebacks (e.g., claiming a "service not as described" despite successful AI generation) will result in an immediate permanent ban and the forfeiture of all user data.
7. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
